O Baby - Baby Picture Carnival

This has got to be the WORST baby picture ever. Look at me (the baby.) I look scared to death. But it was the perfect picture for today's baby picture carnival over at "In His Hands." Why? Becuase my big sister is holding me. And today is HER BIRTHDAY!

Here's another great picture of my with my BIG sister (My ADHD Me). (Don't blame us from the micro-mini skirts either. My mother still dressed us then.) It looks like my sister was always there to protect me right? Well, there was a time when she was actually the one I needed protection from (LOL! - Those teenage years!). But now, if anyone leaves me even the hint of a flaming comment, I can hear the cavalry music and in rides my sister ready to take on the world! All the bloggy friend say they can tell we're sisters just how we comment back and forth to each other.

But what makes us sisters comes from something you can't see -- the life moments we've shared, the triumphs we've celebrated, and the pains we've eased each other through; and from something else only we can feel - the invisible bond that comes from knowing we will always be there for each other. So happy birthday, sis! Everyone head over to My ADHD Me, and wish Mary a Happy Birthday!

Chatty Kelly

What adorable pix, Kelly. You were are cutie-pie (and still are!) I think we're both blessed to have a sister. My poor daughter wishes she had a sister and not just 2 older brothers.

Happy Birthday to you sister!

Ahhhh...I wish my sister blogged. This was sweet! It's awesome what you did at her blog today.

You really have to be careful about inviting people to fill up her comments. There are some people who really take advantage of that:)

(You gave me permission)

Very, very sweet. I love the smocking on the dresses. My mom says that going back to Shirley Temple days, all little girls wore those really short dresses like that. You guys were adorable. You had the same smile as today!

How wonderful to have a sister to share so much with... I have 4 brothers, no sisters.
But I do have 3 daughters, and I can really understand my son's dilema, no brothers!!

Happy Birthday to your sister. You did look scared in that photo (smile) but you were still adorable -- both of you!

I missed out having sisters. I had three brothers which is fun too.
