No Satisfaction - Part 2

I saw on the Olympics the other day that Michael Phelps (swimmer) eats 10,000 calories a day. TEN THOUSAND!!! And his stomach looks like this....

I on the other hand, eat between 1,000-2,000 and my stomach...does NOT look like this.

Then I tell myself, well he is only 24 years old, and I am 40 - so what do you expect! Then I see this photo of Dana Torres (swimmer) who is 41. And yes, she has had a child.

The sugar-free pudding is NOT doing the trick.

I think I might take up swimming.

OMGosh...so many things so little time. I am so envious of some many of my friends and it takes my husband to point out would you trade all of this for that. I may not have the best of a lot of things but I love my family so much. I wouldn't trade them for anything. I will be so sad when my kids return to school. I am also envious of people who are healthy as we have very high medical bills--I wish not to have but without those medical bills my son would not be here plan and simple. So sometimes I have to be happy about them because he can live a full and plentiful life!!

Perhaps she swims through great vats of sugar free pudding, and the resistance has chiseled her body like this??

Very funny! I too wonder why my stomach doesn't look that fabulous! I stay within my WW "points" everyday. Oh well...guess I'll keep eating the free veggies and sugar-free fudge pops.

I notice that you live in Virginia. I was born in Virginia and moved here (to Alabama) when I was about to begin 7th grade! I lived in Manassas. Small world, huh?

Doing crunches, LOL

Amazing photos. If we focused for one year on a major exercise/healthy eating program would all of us greatly improve our look? I think we would. Is our problem that it is not that important to us? Just wondering what my problem is...

I have a confession to make. You had recommended a walking CD and said my level of fitness may be too high to enjoy it. LOL, oh I have misrepresented myself. I say I run, but truth is I wog. You interpret that. My level of fitness leaves much to be desired. And I thank you for your recommendation. I'm four down at the end of week 3. WooHoo!!

Very little petite woman, why on earth are you dieting????

To sweet, sweet, Bonita - I am not dieting. BUT my stomach looks nothing like the photo here. It would be nice to be more tone!

If only I didn't have to exercise.
