Thankful Thursday - 6/17

Five things I'm thankful for this week.

1. I heard back on my book proposal. The agent really likes the idea, but thinks it needs more work. So back to the drawing board. But so thankful she took the time to go over the pros and cons of my work with me. Really good feedback.

2. Friends, local & internets, who care about how I'm doing. Thanks y'all!

3. My in-laws are settling nicely into there new home at the Assisted Living Facility.

4. That I have neither 8 kids, nor the paparazzi following me around as a try to parent the 2 kids I do have.

5. To be home. I missed my bed, my shower, my dog, everything! It's lovely here (because it's home), and I appreciate it all the more after being away.

What are you thankful for this week?

Thankful Thursday at Truth 4 the Journey

Okay, today I’m thankful for TEXTILES

I’ve got this hunch that Fig Leaves and Goat Skins would give me a rash of some sort. We’ve come a long way since Adam and Eve.

I don’t care if it comes from China…just give me some Threads.

That is great about your book -- even though it means tweaking the ideas a bit. Praise God for the good feedback!

I'm thankful for every blessing I have. After my daughter decided to cut her OWN hair yesterday and AFTER she saw the pure anger in my face ... she said (with huge alligator tears pouring down her cheeks) YOU SHOULD BE THANKFUL FOR ME! She stopped me in my tracks -- anger included, because I AM so thankful for her. :o)

Have a blessed Thursday!

Praising God with you! I agree with number 4. This family certainly needs our prayers.

That's great that you got positive feedback on your proposal and suggestions on how to improve it even more! Congrats!

Sigh...Jon & Kate...how sad! Since they live over in Lancaster, I used to like to watch the show because they'd go places where we've been. But then Kate just got to me. I feel badly for their kids.

When the going gets tough, we get going, even without our leader.

I loved number 4. It made me laugh. Good luck on the book. I know it will be a great one.

I'm thankful that God is working even in places I can't see. Glad your feedback from the agent was helpful. Keep going on that. I am thankful also my family is not in the public eye and I pray for the ones who are. May they seek God as their refuge. B

I'm so glad that the agent liked your idea. Feedback is good. But what I like best about this is that God took you over a difficult hurdle. Kudos to you my friend.

So the typo in #3... is that intentional or providential? I have to email you. :)

I KNEW you would respond to my Blog the way you did. I know you better than you think, and remember, I'm always One step ahead of you.

Btw, Edie (the observant one) has a valid question for you. HAAA!

That is great news about the book! Yippee:)
I am thankful for my family each and every day.

I say it was providential.

After all, God is always several steps in front of everyone. :)

...I'm sure you meant to type 'grammar', not grammer.

And yes, I know the real God can spell :D
