5 things I'm thankful for this week:
1. I'm especially grateful and thankful for my 10 yr old daughter who celebrated her birthday on Tuesday. She is a source of joy in my life.
2. I'm thankful for my husband's work. So many are without work now, I'm so thankful that he is working.
3. I'm thankful that we don't have any more expenses this month. With new expenses of school uniforms, school supplies, birthday gifts and my convention, this was an unusually expensive month. Thankful we don't have months like this often!
4. I am thankful that after 10 yrs of leading my stay home moms Bible study, that I am going to join another study group at my current church, and be the nurtured instead of the nurturer for a while. And I am ESPECIALLY thankful for those who are rising up into leadership so that our wonderful group will continue on without me.
5. I am thankful for a God who knows my heart and always arrives, not in my time, but in his own.
What are you thankful this week?
Need new clothes, but have no new income?

#5- I especially get this one. I'm thankful for Him too, arriving in His time and being very timely, at that.
Nice list.
Great list! And I love that you will be "being nurtured" and sitting at His feet! And He is so good to provide others to nurture.
Happy Thursday, Friend!
Love your list. #5 is soooo true. Thanking Him w/you. Blessings, SusanD
Ditto on the working thing. It was on my list too. We have also been hit with unusual expenses this month but you know, we are making ends meet. Praise God.
Nice. =)
I hope you don't mind I used your #5 as inspiration for my post today- gave you the credit for it- Thanks!
Again--HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIGI!!!!
I am thankful that your past Bible Study has a wonderful new babysitter so I feel I can leave without letting them down. :)
Nice! I esp. like number five! I'm thankful for God's mercy and how he shows himself to me daily!!!!
Thankful to be a stay at home mom. I got to color with my kids this morning. Chat with my kids. Read to them. Hug them. Yes, my cat puked in the kids' bedroom. Then my son stepped in it. Now I have to go clean it. Five year old is in bath. Three year old is coloring on... something or someone downstairs. Baby sleeping. I wouldn't want anyone else to be the one to clean up my cat's throw up. Okay, so maybe I would have a nanny just for cat throw up. But the rest - gotta be me. Thank you Lord, for my children. And that I am still in my pjs.
Kelly, Good luck on your switch in small group.. I have been feeling the nudge to switch churches which would pull me out of mom's ministry.. very nerve racking yet exciting!!
#4 and #5 are resonating in my heart too! Some months are tricky! We are there ourselves!!
Love ya,
Susan
Kelly,
I love your list! So many things we take for granted like having someone in the family working whether it is mom or dad or even both. In this economy it is hard on so many people.
I too, will be glad when this month is over, with car registration fees, school fees and supplies, and dances and activities for the next few months.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
Great list and I am so with you on #1 and #3. It always seems July and August are just unbelievably expensive months every year!
I pray that your daughter had a happy birthday! Did she like the books?
I am thankful that God is in control and that He has a good plan for my (and my family's) lives.
I'm thankful that CK finally took the bait on my 'Complete the Sentence'. Geesh, sometimes she is slow at taking the opportunity to witness/preach on my Blog ;)
I know you like the back of my hand.. or something like that...oh yes I do!
Amen Sister. Amen!
Leaders must be followers fist. Thanks for spending the Effort to build leaders. Stars in your crown, sister. Stars in your crown.
Blesings on you.

I'm giving you an award tomorrow on my blog!
Great list, Kelly! I like #4. I lead a Bible study (although not for 10 years) and can see that one day I'll want to be nurtured as well. Enjoy this season.
Kelly, I am so grateful you will be able to enjoy being nurtured in the Word for a while.
I made a similar move about 2 years ago. Guess what!? I never looked back! LOL!
You are a blessing to so many in so many ways, I'm glad you'll have some time to rest in His word for a while.
I am SO thankful that my daughter has the Lord watching over her...he delivered her from a car accident this week unharmed.
