What is the mission statement of my blog? That was the question asked by Becoming Me on her Blog Mission Tour. Honestly I hadn't thought of this before.
"Chatty mom" was the name I originally picked, so I could comment on others blogs and not be "anonymous" anymore. One day I noticed a button that said something like "Click here to start a blog." Ummm, okay. And I think chatty mom was taken as a blog, so I became "Chatty Kelly."
Now I could participate in other blogger's "Mr. Linky" blogs. I could have a voice. But would anyone want to listen? And what would I say?
Well, they say write about what you know? What do I know? Well, the only think I know for sure is Jesus loves me. (This I know for the bible tells me so). So my blog is devotional in nature. It's goal is to share with you that Jesus doesn't only love me, but he loves you too. (And this is where I'd like to say "but I'm his favorite." But I won't, because while I think it's funny to say it's just not true.)
So, my mission statement:
The goal of my blog is to share God's love in a fun and sometimes funny way, that is easy to relate to and, if you're not careful, you just might learn something...and I usually do too!

Hi Chatty Kelly,
I can tell you your mission for your blog comes through! I have enjoyed reading your blogs even though I don't always comment. You are on my favorites list because when I leave your blog I have had fun and do believe that Jesus loves me! Keep up the ministry my new friend!
You have ministered to my heart more than once!
in fauth and prayer,
Pamela R.
This is my first time to your blog, but I look forward to coming back again soon! Thanks for writing - it is so nice to meet you!
Since I've only been here yesterday...but I read a few posts....I'd say "mission accomplished"! I so wanted to do the blog tour, but just haven't done my mission post yet. I was feeling like I couldn't do it this late in the game. You've inspired me. Maybe today.

Mission Accomplished.
From reading your past comments I can tell that your blog is inspiring to many. Thanks to your writing technique, you make us smile and even laugh and then slide in the part reminding us that it is all because of God.
(as for being his favorite...I remember you telling me about the t-shirt....haha.)
The thought had crossed my mind that I could be more purposeful in what I am doing. You've inspired me to think on this a bit more.
Here's my first draft: "To win friends and influence people with sarcastic, stream-of-consciousness yet deep thinking; honoring God through it all; and using my creative abilities--CK being the impetus for such blogging."
Your voice has been inspiring others for years during your leadership in Bible studies. You've encouraged women to come as they are because Jesus loves us right where we are. Now your voice is out there for all women to learn from yet it still feels as cozy as a Fri morning chat before Bible study.
Wonderful mission statement--similar to mine!
I like your fun writing style! Thanks for stopping by my blog, too!
