Have you ever lost your glasses, only to find them on the top of your head? How about getting ready to exit the car, and can't find your cell phone...because you're talking on it? Maybe you've been searching the counter frantically for your keys, only to have someone point them out and say, "If it had been a snake, it would have bitten you." The items were never lost. They were always there, you just didn't see them.
So it is with God. He is always there, even when we feel alone, lonely or abandoned. Sometimes we just don't see Him.
My most recent publication released yesterday. Always There, Reflections for Moms on God's Presence is a devotional published in conjunction with MOPS International, and includes best selling authors Ann Voskamp, Renee Swoop, and Kathi Lipp; as well as my friends, Shannon Milholland, Michele Cushatt, and Sue Jeantheau. I'm honored to be included with these ladies.
I'd love to give away a copy to one of my readers, so leave me a comment telling me why you'd like a copy, a time God was there for you, or what you like about my blog. I'll use random integer to select a winner. Comments may be left through Sunday (4/15) at midnight, and the winner will be announced Monday on my blog. Must provide valid email address, so I may contact the winner and get their shipping address.
